All our programs consist of the following activities:
Student of the Month Award
The Student of the Month Award is an event that we organize at Volunteer Programs Bali for our elementary school students. It motivates them to come to our programs and makes them more eager to learn. The children in our programs can receive an award for their effort and dedication to our free after school classes.
Every month we praise our best students with an educational gift. To be fair for everyone, several students from the same class can receive a prize. The students that come most often to class and are making a big progress in their learning development can win a prize. We hand out 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes so we can reward more than one child at the same time. The prizes are always educational and usually something that the children can use at school as well.
Besides receiving a prize, the monthly events are a great way for all the children to get together with the volunteers and to reward them for the great work they have been doing. It also motivates the children to to keep continuing their classes.
Usually the volunteers are handing out the prizes, which is a good way for them to congratulate their students and praise them for learning so well in their classes.

Volunteers at Volunteer Programs Bali can rest assured that they are not only making a huge difference in the lives of the children they teach, but everyone involved in the process. We are very aware of the huge gaps between the rich and the poor and understand the dynamics and complex reasons of this economical problem. We emphasize working with local people who are not employed yet or do not have profitable businesses, and we understand the difference between a minimum wage and a fair wage. The wages paid to our local staff are fair, which allows them to provide good lives for their children and families.
